I’ve never known what anxiety or depression felt like till 1.5 years ago. I’ve struggled with it everyday since. Some days are better than others. I’ve tried medication but none of that has worked. I feel like it might have made it worse. Recently I’ve struggled with the repeated thoughts of the word suicide. I don’t want to act on it and I don’t feel that way about my life. I love my family, my job, and everything I have. I’m struggling and need help finding my way to Jesus.

I am a nurse and I am on meds for anxiety- especially since the initial hit of handeling the Covid spread in the beginning phases. No therapy, coping mechanism or divine intervention would help. I will not live me life being dehabilitated and on the verge of panic attacks out of nowhere, when there is something to correct it. Scientifically, people can be depressed or anxious because of chemical imbalances without previous traumas alone. You cannot preach something that you do not understand.

This is a “pastor” who is quick to judge, but slow to understand. A “pastor” who thinks he is more godly than the person next to him. Proves his ignorance. Against marijuana which is created by God. But not against caffeine in your morning coffee, not against the chemicals in our food, not against the dopamine hit naturally produced in your brain every time you get on your phone, tv, social media, etc. all created by man. Those are the true worldly things.

I walk right out of this church. I’m all about some Jesus but this dude ain’t for me…

I'm hated and ignored by 700-800 people I also have been through all the temp agency jobs in my area some in other states held almost 30 different jobs between two states my own family has told me that they only tolerate me and wished I would just move away. They live dirty, do drugs, hate God, judge me and themselves spread hate & blame have mental & emotional problems trying to extort money out of each other because they can and despite this there friends are worse than them. The problem with people not knowing how to live, gracefully or in the good as it might be known as is. We are constantly surrounded by horrible people and bad examples. Nobody today too much is actually giving great examples on how to live good or be good without having a bit of a naughty side to them also with the duality with the human Spirit because it is broken it's really hard. Attribute it to it takes a very long time to build a reputation, especially a good one. But it takes only seconds to destroy it which is why everyone defaults to half-assing or living with the bad reputation or settling on a mediocre one.

Hit the people with the message on tithing and explain where the money goes because I don't understand why we just give without knowing what everyone is doing with the money after we give it to the church. But I would rather hear the tithing message before the introduction in the video. That way it would give a great buffer and then you don't have to slap it in the middle of what everyone is saying on the pulpit stage

Look To whom is editing these message only videos you need to put the introduction and welcome into the message on the video. Otherwise you're cutting off the beginning of the message it's making me feel like we missed something. You can't just jump into mid-sentence you have to have that 321. This is church not p o r n . you have to start the message at the beginning with the introduction. We just can't jump into The action okay.

I love your teachings and I have learned a lot through the years. I was upset being a birth Catholic, when you told people not to ask Mary for her prayers. I understand she isn't God but to say you would rather ask for prayers from the cook at the burger stand than the mother of Jesus Christ... something seems a little off. I use to think of myself as brave because I would die protecting my child. That's really no big deal. Even a chicken will die to protect it's chick. What Mary did was way beyond the parental instinct. To not acknowledge her complete love and sacrifice is just wrong and a little arrogant. She wasn't one of us, she was special and stonger than anyone to have walked the earth. Except of course Jesus Christ. Even a dumb uneducated sinner like myself can see that.❤

I'm from India, i just stumbled upon Matts sermons one by one. 3 years ago had lots of problems in my life,i thought God doesn't care and eventually I turned my back on God, thought God intended to give me only problems and troubles. I was wasting my time in smoking, porn and been complaining about God ,to the point I was turning to become atheist . A week ago when I was on a brisk walk decided to play randomly videos on my phone when Matts sermon came staring at me with what I have done to myself running away from God.. It nudged me back to Jesus. I am beginning to pray and trying to change my ways. Left smoking, quit watching provocative images, confession about my sins..oh.Can't thank enough..God himself who lead me to these videos. How can i become member of sandals church please? Again..Matt is a man of God.. Words cut through my heart.. I'm just living the moment like prodigal son. I don't have any ailments and smoke for social status [even before Author of Life]. Mild mood-alteration is better than biblical sobriety when you're working in The South's heat.
